പൂമുള്ളി നീലകണ്ഠൻ നമ്പൂതിരിപ്പാട്
ആയുർവ്വേദത്തിലെ വിവിധതരം ചികിത്സാരീതികൾ, സംഗീതം, സാഹിത്യം, ചിത്രകല, കളരി, സംസ്കൃതം തുടങ്ങിയ വിവിധ ഭാഷകൾ എന്നിങ്ങനെ പല രംഗങ്ങളിലും തനതായ വ്യക്തിമുദ്ര പതിപ്പിച്ച ഒരു ബഹുമുഖപ്രതിഭയായിരുന്നു പൂമുള്ളി നീലകണ്ഠൻ നമ്പൂതിരിപ്പാട് [1] (1921 - 1997) . ആറാംതമ്പുരാൻ എന്നും അറിവിന്റെ തമ്പുരാൻ എന്നും ഇദ്ദേഹം അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സ്മാരകാർത്ഥം ഷൊർണൂരിൽ ഒരു ആയുർവേദ കോളേജ് സ്ഥാപിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. വി.കെ. ശ്രീരാമൻ എഡിറ്റുചെയ്ത് ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ജീവിതത്തെപ്പറ്റി ആറാംതമ്പുരാൻ എന്ന ഗ്രന്ഥം പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്.[3]
